i just got done installing my war153 shackles and my spring spacers... and i did the alignment my self i didnt even need to get the new camber bushings... just turned the old ones and the camber went good. .2+ drivers side and .1+ passanger side... but the only thing that is bothering me is that when i go over a speed bumb i hear a "squeak that i cant figure out what it is.. i installed the plastic things that went under the springs but left the stock metal cup out... i might not have it tight enough..... i will check it tomarrow but BOY what a different ride... alot stiffer ride... i like it... next to come is 31x10.50x15's hehe woo hoo...

THe squeek is normal. I put the shackles on my X and was really disturbed when i heard the squeeking and even occasional clunking or something. It will go away in a week or so. If u want to see some pics of how mine looked I have some in my cardomain site in my sig.

how is the toe on your truck? my toes is out, but i have adjusted it to be into spec, as i have a broken tierod end... i need to replace it.... i know it clunks....

Keep in mind, that although you may have set your camber, your caster is probably off now, one problem I had with spacers I am just now finding out, I had to install extreme bushings, and it wore out a balljoint. The sqeeking may be radius arm bushings getting used to a new angle to run on, or it may be the pivot arm bushings doing the same thing. One other cause could be the angle of the spacer to the coil, they really do not run true flat to each other. Advise from me to you ( I used to run the spacers) keep the front end greased.

I am planning on installing my Warrior 153's and Daystar 2" poly bushings in a couple of weeks. I'll be watching this thread so please keep the updates coming!

Metal vs Poly spacers. Which is better?

Jim

i lube the front end every oil change.... and the noise i am hearing is comming when i hit a speed bump in the front end........ other than that there is no noise heard... but it feels great... toe was off alot.. and so was the camber.. and it still pulls left... so after the tires i am going to realign it and see if i cant bring it more into specs.....
