Just joined with a white 2006 Explorer

hi just joined with a 06 explorer 2WD and have a couple of questions.

i have a noise in the front end of the explorer when i go over bumps mainly speed bumps. not sure what it is though could it be ball joints? only 63k on the odo.

I get a p405 code from time to time saying that my emission system has a large leak in it. checked and changed gas cap already no effect. looks like code comes on around a half tank of fuel or so. didnt know if anyone has this same problem and/or what was the problem.

question 3. In need of tent for the front 2 windows what % are most of you tinted guys running up front sides etc

Looking to change up the front headlights and installing projectors with hids anyone know of aftermarket headlights that anyone makes prior to getting into retrofitting mine?

Welcome to the forum, I'm not very familiar with the 2006-2010 explorers but for question 3, tint % will primarily be based on what you want, and what your state approves of. Most if not all states have a limit on tint. I believe my state is 35%

Welcome. As far as the CEL code for the emission system leak, check the fuel filler pipe & the hoses from the filler pipe to the tank.
