Hey guys,

Like the title states, I just replaced my Alternator on my 1995 Explorer Sport. Before the install the A/C worked flawlessly. Now it is just blowing normal air. I know I put the belt back correctly. I have checked the fuses, all were fine. What do you guys think is wrong? Any ideas?

Thank you,

Marcus

Follow the a/c clutch energizer wire, bet it's disconnected.

If not your a/c clutch energizer connector, then it could be the A/C clutch power relay...

Where are these located? I will do it right now....Thank you!

the power dist/relay box under the hood, should be along the fender apron somewhere right behind the battery, the cover shows the diagram and what relay is what. your a/c WOT and pcm relay are also in the same pwr dist. box.

Where is the energizer connector?

It's plugged into the a/c compressor clutch, that is located at the front of the a/c compressor

I checked the energizer connector and it seems to be connected correctly, I didn't disconnect it when I replaced the alternator. Is the A/C clutch power relay marked "PCM Power Relay" in the owners manual? There isn't that specific power relay in the manual.

Thank you for the help!
