Today i went to hook up my utility trailer to my Explorerput it on the ball hooked up the plug, went to look at the lights only one seemed to work. humm ok thought bad light bulb well this is where it started to go down hill VERY fast! i thought id un connect the plug and clean it then plug it back in , still one light . i said screw it i needed the damn trailer ill just have to get a ticket so i had the trailer spare tire sitting at the back of the trailer i threw the tire to the front of the trailer BAM! then my stereo stops and the one light that did work stopped working. i thought that my CD player just skipped but after it didnt come back on for a few minutes i went in to look at it . there is no sound coming out of the speakers now??" this has me highly pissed and agravated" the radio works fine i see there is sound in it" i have the graphic EQ, so i can see the bands move up and down as the notes play" but not out of the speakers . i have a 91 EB with premimuim sound . so i was thinking is there like some fuse or something by the rear amps? i dont know any tips i will owe you forever ! i need tunes! man this sucks thanks .

If it is the same as my 93,try replacing fuse #3 in the power distribution box in the left side of the engine compartment. From the front of the truck it is on the left side of the box, second from the back. It is a 60 Amp fuse that powers your hazard flasher, brake on/off switch, lighter, dim/flash-to-pass switch, JBL amp, sub amp, and horn. This seems logical because you said that the trailer lights stopped working after it happened and they're on the same circuit. Hope this helps.
