it says deep creep can be used in hydralic fluid. does this mean i can add it to DOT3 fluid to help restore the inside of some of my hard lines? or is adding it to brake fluid a big :nono:

Never add anything but brake fluid to your brake reservoir .

It is safe to put 1/2 can of Sea Foam into the oil and leave it in till the
next oil change. Half of the Sea Foam will evaporate and the oil will come
back to the original viscosity.

That being said if this is the first time you are using Sea Foam in the oil,
we would suggest putting 1/2 a can into the oil prior to an oil change, no
need to warm up your engine. Drive for 15 minutes to 1/2 and hour, then
change the oil and put the second 1/2 can into the oil and leave it till the
next oil change. Any further questions let us know. Thanks for using Sea
Foam.

Subject: Seafoam in Oil

When adding Seafoam to the engine's oil, do you recommend changing the oil in a short time, or add the seafoam with fresh oil and run normally until the next change?

Thanks in advance!

seafoam is like money - you can never have enough. i buy a can for my fuel tank, a can for the crankcase(1/2 before an oil change, 1/2 after), and a can for the intake manifold.

works wonders.

Thanks guys, i did find it at piston ring here in winnipeg. Im going to use it tonight!

Be careful about using it in the oil. I did this and I ended up with a slight engine miss and sputter until I found the problem.... a fouled cam position sensor. I took it off and cleaned it, and my problem was solved. Seafoam also recommends to run the engine above 3000 rpm,s for at least 20 minutes so it does not clog your 02 sensors. Great stuff though.

I was in the parts store checking out sea foam the other day and it occoured to me..."if i clean out all the crap in my engine; gum, carbon and crud buildup.
some of that stuff might be sealing a gasket or two and keeping it from leaking...wont this make my gaskets leak?" has anyone had issues with leaks after using sea foam?

Never had any problems when using Sea Foam, however, I only use it through the intake and gas tank. I would never put anything in my oil.
