Well, my girlfriend's lease runs out in 12 days, so I told her I'd spend this weekend finding her the right car/truck. She really likes Chevy's (and so do I), and I've always loved the Tahoe. At Rydell GMC/Chevy, we know the financer and tons of the reps. Anyways, we went just to "look", right? Brought home a big baby after about 3 hours in the 100*F heat in California (my God I'm still sweating), and as I sit here writing this, she's already at lunch with her friends and taking it for a stroll. As long as we both committed to putting our priorities first, this was affordable. It's a 2004 Chevy Tahoe Z71. We love going outdoors, as well as using my parents Stingray cruiser (boat), already has a Class V hitch, so we're ready to hit the dock. These were taken at my parents house BTW.
The poor little Explorer in the background.
She pulled in next to my fathers Yukon XL Denali.
Just a pic of the Denali parked next to his work truck, 1990 Ford F-150 5.6 460HP engine, holy batman is it a gas sucker, has 2 tanks too. Was vandalised around 2 months at a job site of his, so it sits in their driveway for now.
Best for last, of course. I'm really getting fustrated with the eBay grille, just need to find some time to get myself a real one (had one before, but had a broken bar while being shipped and was impatient, my fault). Not sure if I like the vinyl up front, but that's the last picture with stock rims/tires on it.
Little financially stressed though, and she knows it. All in all, means my expenses for the X are going towards the Yukon for awhile. But I absolutely love going wakeboarding and camping, both of us do, and that means so much more in the long run I think. What a Sunday.
