Havn't had my new HU for a full week yet and somehow lost the remote.

Does anyone know how to replace the remote? Where to get one? How much?

Thanks....

Give JVC a call, I'm sure you can order one from them. I've done it a few times with home theater components from other companies and they've all sold replacement remotes.

Qustion for those of you who have remotes - where do you keep them when not in use? Does anyone velcro them to console or visor, etc?

Thanks....

I've velcro-ed a few to consoles (none in my own cars) for people, seemed to do fine, just clean the console up real nice with soapy water first. I usually keep my remote in the dash pocket above (or below, depending on which car we're talking about) the radio, or in the center console. Really the only time I use mine is at stereo competitions so I don't have to make SPL tests with my ears in the car, so its handy to have it free.

I keep mine in the space below my HU,
the empty part of the HU install adapter.

sarah, i tried stashing mine in there, but it always falls out when i touch the gas, so i just keep mine in the little storage cubby under the a/c & heat controls.

Found the remote... one of my dogs took it and hid it where he hides his bones....
