I just installed a drop in K&N with a modified air box. I can feel the diff but I did NOT reset the computer. Is it worth it to reset it? I have heard of idling problems after resetting the computer. Please let me know.

You have your choice of a couple of different routes to take. First of all, if you do not reset your computer, it will use the information it has previously "learned" and apply that until it realizes a difference. It usually takes about 300 miles or so before it will actually learn this on it's own. In other words, it will gradually phase this modification in but it will be a slow process and you will not see the difference as you get used to it as the computer does.

The second option is to go ahead and reset it and it will learn much faster. It will only run rough for a few minutes as it will initially go back to the factory setting. Within about 30 minutes or less of driving, it will already be set up and back to normal. I have reset mine a couple of times and it is usually quick to learn and get back to normal.
