K&N or KKN air induction system??

Has anyone tried either of these air induction kits? I currently have the stock replacement K&N and am not very happy with the performance it has given me. I have a 95' Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4 door 2WD, with the 4.0l OHV. I am currently getting apx. 15.0 mpg in the city (lots of highway driving, @ 70-80 mph). The units look very similar, and just needing a comparison from individuals with either of the units. Please reply with any comments.

hi . i just installed the k&n on mine and it seams to be working great . i had some pinging at first but after re setting the computer it works great now. and ilive the sound. the k&n cost 139.00 and the air filter is bigger than the kkn so ithink it must get more air. who knows but im happy . i also just put a new muffler on and now it turns heads . lots of luck .mike
