Key pad won't unlock/lock & compass/temp won't show

'02 sport Tracy outside door key pad won't unlock or lock doors. Key fab still works. Also, the gauge the shows ouside temperature is not working. I have read it could be fuse, battery, or BCM.

Any suggestions on where to start? Thank you in advance for your help. Have a Blessed Independence Day!

My temperature display just started going blank. I tap it with my finger and it works again. Probably a loose connection.

Probably a 510 resistor (there are two on the overhead display's circuit board) with a cracked solder joint. Pretty easy repair. I've made it on several of my Explorers and on my ST. There's a good STICKY on the subject.
