Like the title say's I am new to the Explorer forums, I've owned this car since since I was 15. It's was a weekend driver I purchased off an old man and today I just put 81k miles on her. Even babied, I have a slight oil leak, thinking its a head gasket.
She's taken care of me, so I'm going to do the same.
I'm trying to get an all around clean look so i removed the roof rack, and door bumbers ( if anyone has a great technique to remove double sided tape please let me know ). I'm balling on a budget so I'm doing small tasks first just to make her look a bit better.
I plan on getting some black touch up paint and a can of Nightshades to fix the fade on the doors and mirror and smoke my taillights and headlights next paycheck.
Plans - This is going to be an ongoing project over a long stretch of time, but eventually I will be blacking everything out with a 2-3 inch drop shaved. This is my first project, so I'll be posting a ton of pictures of what can and will go wrong, becuase most likely I'll break her before I fix her.
At last a pic...
