Intro - Just bought a 92 XL

Just a quick intro to let everyone know I'm here.

I just bought a 92 XL Xploder. I have been checking out this truck for 2 wks. That means I've been reading this site for two wks learning all I can about the truck. Right now it's bone stock except for the replacement of the front speakers as they were both toast when I got it.

My plans are to just drive this one. Hopefully it will last a good long time. Thanks to the site I checked the trans, door hinges, brakes, and transfer case motor before the purchase. All's well. So I pulled the trigger on it w/ 50k orig miles.

So..thanks for the site, info, and ideas on mods. I don't have any plans on mods yet as I'm not an avid off-roader. The only place I've been off-road was the Outer Banks. I have a trip planned nxt week so this thing will get a sand baptismal soon!

I thougth it was a dial-back job at first. Ya know...a changed speedo or something. But after checking the truck it has 10 yrs of wear on the body and interior but the motor and trans are in seemingly excellent shape. An oil leak on the valve cover gasket but thats about all I can see for now. I was as surprised as the nxt guy.
