KKM filter

Hello. I just installed a kkm filter in my 96 sport and i was just wondering from anyone who has had one and off roaded with it how much risk of mud jamming it up i should be concerned about. I went through a lot of mud with the stock system and had to worry about it getting wet. That was part of the reason for me installing this small mod. Is it easy to get the filter clogged because its so exposed? Just trying to see how i should handle mud and i guess water from now on. Thanks.

I just put an KKM on in my wife's '00 XLT and from the looks of it, I definitely think that if you take it out in the mud, it would cake up much easier than the stock airbox.
