when accelerating, i feel this steady knock on the gas pedal and it increases with speed, but eventually goes away.. the engine seems to be a bit sluggish on acceleration, but that is kind of expected at 187,000 miles. the tranny was replaced 2 years ago i think, and on all of my cars i've never had this problem.
would seafoam or oil change additive fix this you think? or is it a much bigger problem..?
