Hi, I recently Installed 1.5" wheel spacers on my 2000 mercury mountaineer, and on the way home I noticed and knocking sound with every rotation of the wheel. This may not be related to the install of the spacers but I thought I would mention it. I Plan on re installing them to make sure the lugs were tightened to proper specs, I was careful about cleaning the surfaces and proper tightening so I think the spacers are not the problem, but I will double check. Any thoughts?
