Labored Starting

Help!! My 2002 SportTrac has developed a very labored starting routine. Whether cold or warmed up, to start requires the engine to turn over for 6-10 seconds and shakes like hell in the process. Previously the truck started with a simple twist of the ignition, now I must hold the starter engage for quite a while. Any hints.

Took a video with my phone to demonstrate sound and timing but cannot figure out how to add to this message, sorry can't give you any more information.

First thing would be to check for codes. If you don't have a scanner most chain parts stores will do it for you.
