Planning on replacing my firestones with BFG 31x10.5x15's until I can scrape together enough money to get a lift, and have read in a few posts that stock height can accomodate the size, but outside of throwing off the speedometer are there any other changes? Was also wondering, how exactly does it throw off your speedometer? One post said 1%-5%, but in what direction? If the speedo says 60 am I going 63 or 57 mph with the new tires? Don't want to waste $75 to have it adjusted if it's something as simple as doing a little arithmetic. Thanks for the help.

Going to larger tires, your speedometer will read low. When your speedometer says 60MPH, you will really be going 63MPH.
