Leaf Spring Blocks

I have the stock blocks and leaf springs in the rear, i'm wondering would taking out the blocks give me a lift? Has anyone done this, if so would like some feedback.

these "blocks" are your spring perches so unless you're gonna four link it you need them. the only thing that will give you a lift back there is welding some new perches on top of the axle which will give you like 5.5" of rear lift. search "SOA." there are also other ways to lift the rear. search also "shackles" and "AAL"
