leaf springs question

I recently read something about the need to maintain leaf springs where a guy took them out and cleaned them and bent them back to their correct shape. Is it possible to take leaf springs out and increase their bend to give the truck a small lift?

you can use add-a-leafs, or F-150 leafs to give you some lift with the stock spring pack.

It is possible to "rearch" leaf springs but to be done correctly it requires considerable heat. This has met with varying degrees of success, but for the most part it is difficult to find someone who will do it, and the arch does will usually tend to return to normal in a fairly short time.
