Leaking axle grease in front?

I have a 01 ford explorer i believe im leaking axle grease in front of my explorer? Any help will be appreciated its 4 wheel drive

Three places come to mind: pinion seal, axle seals, and vent tube. Look there and post back.

The axle is full of gear oil, not grease. What are the symptoms? What do you see and where? Do you have dripping fluid or a puddle? (Could be a pinion or axle seal, etc.) Do you see hunks of grease splattered around? (Most likely from a bad CV boot, ball joint, etc.) What color, viscosity, location?
