Hello! Someone posted some where on these forums this link for LED bulbs..

http://autolumination.com/

Can't remember where I copied it from or I would give credit however this site confuses the heck outta me! I have a 94 ford explorer and i'm looking at getting some LED blinkers, back up lights, DASH lights etc.. I have no idea how to tell which bulb i need or what??? if anyone has used this site please let me know so I can try to figure this out. I do not have aim or any messengers but i have no problem getting on the phone if someone wants to walk me through it or just explain here and hopefully I can figure it out! Thank you for your time.

well i could be a ##### and tell you to google it like some people do. but here is the list.
turn signal bulb : 3157
back up bulb : 3156
dash bulb : 194
brake bulb : 3157
tail light bulb : 3157
license plate : 194
side marker : 194
high mount stop light is not available on that website you listed.
you need 4 3157's .... 1 in each corner of the truck. brakes and turns.
you need 4 194's .... 2 front marker lights 2 license plate lights.
you need 2 3156's .... 2 reverse lights.
i cant remember about the dash lights... but if you count the heater controls and the ashtray light and glove box light you would need more than 10 probably around 15 194's

I'd search up on this subject before you dive into buying things. I know several members have tried going all LED with the simple plug and play ones and have failed because they are too dim.

Searching what others have used with success will save you a lot of time and money.

And the list posted above appears to be correct for all the bulbs.

Is there any way I can install LED lights inside my car without going through the firewall?
Im not a huge fan of taking apart 40% of my car so I can install a 90$ product, but I was wondering if I could use the OBD2 to plug it into? Im not sure I havent gotten th LED's yet. My car is a 2002 Pontiac sunfire. any help would be great

why would you have to take apart 40% of your car?

I figure I did about 20% last year... ;)

Adding LED to interior, yeah, just go to the interior fusebox. BTW, Explorers did not have ODB-II until 1995.

Edit: Oh, are you talking about your Pontiac? At any rate, I would not use ODB-II as a power source, it goes to the computer, and I would mess with that as little as possible. Find a fuse for lighting and tap off of that.

You dont have to rip apart your truck...
