Liberty - The Sequel: 29 Aug - 1 SEP

Are you bringing Molson?

Guess I have to start begging the boss.

Oh sure, my company isn't enough for you to show up:rolleyes: I will be leaving Mt. Vernon around 4:30 am Saturday morning, so if you want to meet in North bend, I'll probably be there around 6 or so.

Too quiet

This thread has gotten too quiet.

Is anyone still going??

I am, I'll call and confirm w/ Ken.

Okay, here's the plan. Ken is still a go as am I. I have Friday off so I will be heading out there Thursday night to reserve(squat) the campsight. I will use the F-350, trailer, and Explorer to create a large fence for our usual are :D .

Ken will probably show up Friday, my wife will roll in early Saturday morning. Friday will be a non-wheeling day for me as I will have the 2 yr old, Logan, with me. So my roll call for the weekend is: Me, Kenny, Logan, Josh(nephew home on leave from the Navy), and Misty(wife). Codey has to work so he will be stuck at home :(

Paul, I know you already posted that you were in, but a confirmation post would be great. Just talked to Ryan, and he has other plans for that weekend.

Let's camp and wheel.

Bring the BIG screen, I found the video cable I was missing. I'll bring the old analog camcorder and see what we can get shots of to play on the big screen at dinner time.

I think we'll head out Sat Morning by 7am.

The next camp site to the west from our last trip might be perfect for us. Small enough for only us but big enough for the 4 of us (assuming there aren't any lurkers too afraid to post):shifty_ey

Time to inventory the trailer and switch the X back to wheeling mode.

I'm anxious to hear how Paul is handing the daily grind behind a desk:o

I don't remember anything but bushes to the west. Remember, you had the nose of my f-350 pushing some of hem back last time. Are you talking about where Ryan, Stacey, Ryan, and Katie were close too?

Still In!

I'm anxious to hear how Paul is handing the daily grind behind a desk:o

Okay, I'm still in - - just me and the tiny tent. . . Molson is staying home aboard, and I won't need much room at the campsite...

Work is okay - - still strongly recommend taking a few years off at any point in your career to do what we've done for the last 2 years... Great view of the Space Needle from my office and good group of people...

Phil - How do modify the Explorer to be the "Whee King"?

Send a grid of the campsite - - maybe I'll head out from Seattle Friday afternoon...

There are a couple more camp areas west of where we have been staying. About 100ft down that gravel road is another camp about the size we occupied last month. A couple hundred feet further and there is a much larger open area. Between those 2, there's a concrete outhouse.

I think the middle camp would be just right for us. If the rig trailers won't fit, there's plenty of room by the outhouse

Okay, now I see what your talking about Phil. I'll check it out.

Paul, Where's your office, I'm on 4th and Vine. Maybe we can do lunch sometime.

You Betcha - - I'm at 700 Stewart. . .

3 blocks from my bus stop:D, 9 from my office on 4th and Vine. PM me a a contact #/e-mail downtown and we'll get together.

What's our normal CB channels and FRS channels, I forgot. I need to set the wife up with her channels preset so when she shows up early Saturday morning she can contact/find us. She should make it there okay since she'll have the GPS already preset. She's a little navigationally challenged :D

I don't remember what CB channel but hand-held is ch20 code1

I'm going to look at these tonight (from CL);

4 33x12.50x15 BFG Mud Terrains. 75% tread, good tires I just upgraded to a larger tire. Just over a year old.

There are down the hill in Factoria. I just can't seem to get the MTR's to roll anywhere near smooth on the freeway.

Whoo hoo!

:thumbsup:Now I've got some meat!

Is it just me or does it really take longer to prepare for the trip than the trip actually is?

I've been at it for 2 weeks for a 3 day weekend:rolleyes:

Are you bringing my new sliders?

Are you bringing my new sliders?

Ummm, did we have a discussion after I had too many beers that I don't remember? If so, don't remember this conversation, but it's nothing to build a set of sliders if you don't mind them welded to the frame like Painter Ken's. Bolt ons are a pain, but doable. It's a weekend project, one side per day, but I have to have the truck as I don't have any patterns, jigs, or measurements. It's all cut and weld as you go:D

So I am mostly packed up. Found out tonight that the camper has a leak somewhere causing water to build up in the bottom of the cab over section (where the large bed is). So I guess it's time to re-seal the entire thing since it's impossible to find the exact water point of entry. Oh well, it's better than a tent. Time for a weekend full of caulking :D
