Can anyone tell me the correct spare part number for the left side license plate light power cable? I need a new because the socket in is broken in the one I have.

I also need the number for the light itself. A previous owner broke one of them.....

My local repair shop tried to look up the numbers but the ones they find are not the ones I have on my car.

It's a 2007 Explorer XLT

The vin number is 1fmeu73e57ub59380 if that helps...

This is the socket you need for the license plate lights...with the Ford and Motorcraft numbers underneath...

Use a #194 bulb or equivalent

Do I need to solder them to the existing wires?
The ones that are in the car have 3 wires coming to it. Do you know why?

3 wires for a single filament bulb?...that's odd.

I don't know what to tell you...maybe bring it to a repair shop and have them check it.

I tried the local repair shop and they couldn't understand the three wires either...
I think I'll have to go to a Ford dealership and see if they can help.
Thanks for the help so far. :-)
