i am just wondering a couple of things. I know 30x9.5x15 will fit under a stock X with no lift. but i want to get a set of destination MT's at 30x 9.5 and since i need tires more than a body lift i will be getting them before the lift. i am wondering if it will look ok to have the 30's on there with a Body lift??? i see alot of lifted trucks with a huge gap between the tires and the body (vertical gap) and IMO it does not look right. i figure i will have about 3-4 " of gap with the 30's until next winter when i may get 32's.

side note : anybody know the weel spacing on a stock 94? i want to get new rims but i do not know the Backspacing/whell spacing. i want to get either American racing model 136 (AR-136) or find a set of ford factory chrome rims, like the "3 blade" off a f-150 or something, i have seen the "3 blade" on 95+ but am not sure they'll fit.

heres a pic of the rim i am looking for... its not my pic, just found it on google)

You will have a big gap with 29's & a BL, so why not get the 29's, then wait to get the BL until you are ready for the 32's?

Get the 30s for now and then sell them once you do a body lift since they'll look awfully funny on there, I should know.. I had 31s on my truck after a 3" body lift & 2" TT/Shackle.

well I NEED tires soon as my winter bargian tires are crapping out. i figure with 30's and a 3" BL it wont be too bad. at least i know it wont rub...LOL but i may be doing the f-150 coil spacer/ warrior shackle thing as well just to make sure 32's will fit perfectly. or would 33's work better with both installed?

EDIT: Anyone know where i can get a set of rims like the pic i posted in my first post? i would be willing to pay any reasonable cost.

If you're only doing a 3" body lift, go ahead and get 31's. They should fit with very little or no rubbing stock and won't look as funny after the body lift. Also, those rims look like 2nd gen. Explorer rims, and will fit your truck. Just call some junkyards.
