Lift Gate Glass Jammed

For some reason the lock is stuck on my Lincoln Aviator lift gate window. I noticed it grocery shopping yesterday. The window does not close fully and I'm worried as this is an obvious security issue! The lock thing is stuck in the lock position and I can't pull it back out. Any ideas?

Anyone have any idea? I don't want random homeless people sleeping in my car at night. Just got it on Valentine's day too

Grab on to the latch and pull while you are hitting the liftgate button. This should let the latch move to the unlatched position.
