Hey Gerald
ok i just purchased the
2" body lift kit from performance accessories
warrior shackles for my 99 explorer
pro comp add a leaf kit
Is there any tips or warnings that i should watch out for with instalation of any of these. Also do you know anywear i can get ARB "old man Emu" shocks. do you think that i should replace my factory shocks when i do all the installs. next question is i have a westin brush guard on my xplorer. how do i lift this to accomodate the body & bumper lift. one last and final thing for this email... is there anyway to make our xplorers only 2wd, auto, 4 high, 4 low. i did a search and came back with a bunch of answers but got confused. Some said to cut a brown wire while others said to cut a yellow wire and install a relay and switch. is this possible and will i just be able to turn the switch off and be back in auto 4. What is the reason behind the power trax no slip locker. and do you by chance know what the reason of sway bar dissconnects are. thanks for the help.
Jason

1) new shocks would prolly help flex a little

2) you will need a custom bracket for the brush gaurd to be mountable.

3)cut the brown wire and put it on a switch

4)the powertrax locker will engage both wheels on that axle equally so you will be able to lift a tire off the ground and continue moving.

5)sway bar disconects allow the sway bar to be disconnected and improve the flex of you suspension.
