lift kit

trying to find a lift kit for an 03 explorer sport. i know that i read somewhere that they arent in production yet, but rancho is making one.

I would like to get everyones input on this and let me know whatsup

Welcome to the site. Rancho is the only company that is in the process of producing one for the public from what I understand.

Superlift 4" for 95-00 Explorers. It will work on your truck.

He has a 03. Thats IFS & IRS.. Won't work.

edit: wait he has a 03 sport 2door. nevermind it should still have a solid rear axle. If so the 4" lift kit will work and more than likely the 3" PA 883 body lift.

ok i know ford did wierd things naming 4 doors sports now... is your truck a 4 door explorer or a 2 door explorer?

they are all sports now right... my 2002 is an sport and it is a 4 door

It must be getting weird. Mine is a 4 door explorer, but it has the "sport package". All that means is looks from what I can tell. Painted fender flares and bumpers, step bars and larger tires/wheels.

then theres 2 4" lift kits out for your truck. one made by Super lift an one by trail master(?) there are people on this site that have both. they both are pretty spendy though.

if you want some lift for not as much money. you can do whats called the "torsion twist" an "shackles" lift an this gives you about 2" then you can do either a 2 or 3" body lift for more lift. hope this helps alittle
