lift needed for 31x10.50's

I was wanting to know if just a tt and shackles will be enough to get 31's under my 99 ex

Yep. They fit with no mods on stock 15x7's.

Yeah they will also fit 15x8. Alot of people on here actually fit 32x11.5's with the tt and shackles. You might have to do a little trimming though.

I'm not running any lift on my 96 and my 31's fit fine with no rubbing even with the back end sagging.

Some of us....like myself, I am running 33's on 15x8's with trimming but it looks SO GOOD on stock height

I took a tape measure and checked my wheel well height front to back my rear is about 2" lower should I get an add a leaf or make some blocks for the rear to level it out

Your truck looks like the tires going to cut the fenders up going over a speed bump. You couldn't even get that in my driveway without tires rubbing

An add-a-leaf would help you out, so would warrior shackles (part # WAR-153)

I am concidering doing a spring over on the rearthat should give me the extra lift i need to level it out without shackles

spring over will give you like 4.5" of lift....You will be nose dived like crazy. just do AAL and Shackles.

I haven't measured but I've heard it's more like 6"

That very well could be brianjwilson but either way it will be way higher in the rear than the front. you would have to get a 4" superlift kit for the front or straight axle it to get it level again.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure its around 6''. Just go with the shackles. $75 for the pair and worth every penny. If they lift the back to high for you, just crank the torsion bars to level it out.

AAL= 1.5"... Shackles=1.5"-2"...Problem solved. Or you could through some F150 leafs on there AND do AAL AND do shackles for even more hieght. IT's up to you man but spring over is going to be huge. If it's sagging that much in the rear...you need new springs. Personally if I were you, what I would do is...either AAL & shackles OR new leaf springs and shackles only.

Most of the pics of my X are before trimming, now it has absolutely no rub right now and looks SO good!!!

But, Stang, personally I would get a new 4-door leaf pack and do a TT/Shackle lift on it.
