HERE IS THE DEAL. I WANT TO GET THE SUPERLIFT 5.5 INCH LIFT. SO I CALLED 4WHEELPARTS AND THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID.

THE LIFT COMES WITH FREE SHOCKS BUT THEY ARE ELIMINATOR SHOCKS AND THEY ARE CHEAP AND YOU DON'T WANT THEM. IS THIS TRUE, DO THEY REALLY SUCK? BECAUSE ANY MONEY I CAN SAVE WOULD HELP.

SECOND THEY SAID THAT I HAVE TO GET EXTENDED BRAKE LINES. WHAT ABOUT THAT, IS THAT TRUE TOO, COULD I DO WITH OUT THEM?

AND LAST SHOULD I GET IT WITH THE SUPERLIFT EXTENDED RADIUS ARMS, OR WOULD IT BE BETTER TO WAIT, SAVE UP SOME MONEY AND GET SOME JAMES DUFF ONES OR SOMETHING BETTER? DO THEY REALLY MAKE THAT BIG OF A DIFFERENCE?

OH SORRY ONE MORE THING, WILL A SPRING OVER AXLE IN THE REAR BE LEVEL WITH THE 5.5 IN THE FRONT, CAUSE THAT IS WHAT THE GUY SAID I SHOULD DO?

THANKS GUYS, TRYING NOT TO GET CHEATED

I've never used the shocks so I can't speak for them....you will need the brake lines. The stock ones don't have much extra length to them and you will rip them quickly. The extended radius arms are more or less a must too. Without them your flex as well as the ride will suffer. I'm sure you can use the James Duff ones but due to the extra length they will need to be mod. The SOA is how you will lift the rear if you purchase the kit. It's a common way to lift 4x4's no matter what brand. If you're looking to save money I'd say wait and replan everything. Lifting your truck is something where one mod runs into another. If you lift it you will need larger tires and wheels. If you run larger tires you will need to regear. Take a look around the site and read as much as you can to do the lift.

Good Luck.

THANKS LEEBO

I JUST BOUGHT SOME 33 INCH BFGS ON 15X10 AMERICAN RACING BAJAS, THEY ARE JUST WAITING FOR THE LIFT TO GO ON.

COULD I JUST RUN THE LIFT WITH OUT THE EXTENDED RADIUS ARMS AND DEAL WITH NOT HAVING ALOT OF FLEX, AND THEN LATER BUY THEM IF I WANT?

You could but that is alot...and I mean, alot of extra work to do later....One thing I've learned, is do it right the first time....Also, yer caps lock is on....

Hey Phillip,
Seeing that you live in Monterey, go to Trains 4x4 in Salinas and see if Mark Train can beat 4wheelers price
