Lifting help needed

Well as some of you know, i new to this site, and also new to the Off-Roading world. So we (my friend and I) have a '91 explorer and were looking to lift it about 4 inches, any Idea how much it would cost? Any sites i can look at? thanx for all your help

Well, you are on the right site for info on lifting your Sploder, thats for sure. I'm sure a '91-'94 expert will chime in here soon to help ya out. In the mean time take a look at the links on the front page and look in the for sale section, you may be able to piece a lift togeather from there. :thumbsup: Welcome and have fun...
 












First off, if you don't mind me asking, why do you and your friend own an explorer together? Second, please use the search function. You will most like find the answers to your questions. I'll go ahead and start you off though. To get 4" of lift, you can purchase a number of different suspension setups. Check www.rockymountainsusp.com. These kits are pretty expensive though and if you want a more cost effctive way to gain 4" of lift, you can use coil spacers or new 2" lift coil springs, shackles or add a leaf's in the back, and a Performance Accessories 2" body lift.
