Lightning/Cobra Wheels on 05 4x4

Will the Lightning wheels fit on my X? Also, if I get the Cobra wheels, what mods do I need to make (if any) so they'll fit OK. Thanks.

id say if its a 5 lug then u shouldnt have any problem... the boltinh pattern for a ford will prolly be the same

That is wrong. There is more than one 5 bolt pattern. 5x135 = F-150 & Expeditions lug pattern and 5x4.5 = Explorers Mustangs Rangers.

Are you sure? I read about a guy with a 2nd Gen having to put some sort of spacers on so he could put the center cap on and also something about his dust covers or something...Thanks - I'm glad I didn't grab those Lightning wheels - But I guess if they'd fit, I'd have seen someone on here with pics...

snd gens and thrid gens have different backspacing. only concern with cobras wheels is tire size since there 9 inches wide. depends entirely on what you want to do.

Any of the 18x9 ~+24mm offset Mustangs will fit on a 3rd gen. They fir on 2nd gens too, but 2wd trucks will need a small spacer in the front.
