Okay, I woke up from a nap tonight, look outside at my explorer, and all of the interior lights are on as if one of the doors are open. I go out, check all the doors - opening and closing them and even pressing on their switches in the jambs, and nothing... The lights will not shut off! I removed the overhead light and the light in the trunk, the door lights would not come out so they got destroyed. Anyone have any idea why they wouldn't shut off? What should I check? Also, my alarm arms and disarms fine, like it knows that none of the doors are open. So for some reason all of the lights are on even though all of the doors are closed? Make sense? Any ideas?

search a thread from about 4 hours ago of the same title

actually, you just scroll down the list of threads, it was litterally a few hours ago

yup, probably your interior dimmer switch also.

And there was no reason to start breaking things, why didn't you take out the fuse to shut them off?

Hmmm.... That thread doesn't help, I've made the same mistake before and turned the switch all the way to the left during the day while cleaning, and then been confused at night. There was also the time that I turned it all the way to the right and thought I blew a fuse because I couldn't read my gauges at night. But not this time, I checked that... The dimmer switch is in the right position. Burnt out maybe?

Yeah, no reason to break things I admit... Usually they don't break, I don't know what the problem was. I was going to buy new ones to match my neons anyways...
