- '94 XLT 4x4 4 Dr **sold**
Hey all. I recently bought a 94 XLT 4x4 with the LS diffI have a couple weeks on the dealer warranty and I want to get everything fixed that needs it. The truck has 160,000kms on it, so I figured the limited slip would probably need to be rebuilt. How do you tell if it is working properly. I put one back tire on ice and the other on pavement, then spun the tires, and the one on ice spun freely, and the other did not grab at all. I assume this means it is not working, right?
Thanks for any info on this.
P.S. Went ice fishing this weekend and there is about a foot and a half of snow on the lake...the Explorer performed great...drove around at will. Even helped pull out a Blazer!!!
