I think I might attempt this this weekend.

I want to make sure I take everything I need. I'll be bringing a full socket set, breaker bar, jack, mallet, couple of longer thick flathead screwdrivers.

I was thinking some socket extensions as well too.

Anyone help me out with my list?

swivels, 35 torx for the front drive shaft bolts (front yoke) hack saw, lots of extensions, if you have 13mm ratchet wrench is good

How'd this go? My rear main seal is gone, and a shop wants $650.00 to do. Im just wondering If I can handle the job myself. Mines 4x4. Im guessing that adds another level of complexity.

hahaha..............Your even close by me. Imagine that!
So, you have the time and desire to make a few dollars? Sounds like a tranny jack is a must. Id just hate to get crushed like jd4242. He bench pressed his tranny.

Im just not sure that I want to take this on myself.
