Soo i decided to go trail riding a bit today after school...and in the process decided a tight squeeze between two trees...

end result..
ALOT of limb scratches down my car..not really deep or anything...just noticeable.

what would the best way to get these out be?think my local car detail/wash could tackle it?

Rubbing compound and a power buffer. Clean it right up. Then wax and polish.

Yup, I claybar'd, then used paint cleaner, then polish, then some good NXT tech wax, and she's taken a TON of branches without scratching.

A good coat of wax is the key, after you buff out what's already there.

Or you could display them proudly as redneck pinstripes/battle scars!! I did for a while on my last truck but then the touch of OCD kicked in and I had to use rubbing compound and polish.

Haha... I'd consider that, but my wife doesn't want to be driving around in a heap...

yeah I hear ya, I'm the type that I like my truck clean and shiney when I drive around town but when I go mudding I like to see how muddy I can get it and keep it that way for a few days. What can I say, I lived in Alabama for 10 years where the muddier your truck is the cooler it is. While i was in high school kids would get up early before school, go to cement pond (mud hole close to school) and get their truck muddy to display at school.
