Little hoses on airbox??

What are the two little hoses for?? I took out my airbox and one wasn't connected to anything and had some kind of plug in the end, did I just break it and not notice? Or are they even important? Thanks!

screw it.... if installing an aftermarket intake.... they tell you to plug them up anyway..... they are really an emissions thing but dont do too much

the hose with the yellow stripe on it goes to the heat riser, the other is a vacum line.
