2 hoses comming out of airbox??

What do the two hoses that come out of the air box do exactly? Are they important? The reason I ask is because I have just attached a cone filter instead of the box and am wondering what I should do with them.

Just plug them up

One of them is a vacuum hose. I am not sure about the other one is. But like 88vert said, just plug them up with a screw or something.

yeah I just took two screws and put them in the hoses after my KKM install everything works fine

I can't just plug them up, there's no where on a cone filter to plug them up to.

So are you saying I should just plug them? Nothing's going to explode or anything then?

nope, just plug the ends that came out of the air filter housing with a screw. That is just part of the instructions when installing a KKM or similar filter.

Nothing will happen.
