I've got a problem with my '96 XLT where the dome lights will not go off. Nevermind that there isn't a switch to turn the lights off no matter what. I had to pull the fuse. I need to check the door switches, but I cannot find them. They are nowhere visible. Its like a magic trick. Where are the switches?

If I have to pull the door panel off, is there any trick to doing that easily?

on trucks later than a 94, the switches are actually built into the hinge itself... i cant explain it any further than that... sorry.......

Did you make sure that your dimmer roller thing isnt rolled all the way up, that turns on the dome lights also.

So, how would I go about disconnecting one? I'd be content to just not have one door switch work rather than deal with trying to fix it.
