locked out

Hello. Anyone out there locked their keys inside car will they were still in ignition? 2000 explorer.

More than once, last time it was running. I ended up wrapping a rag around a screwdriver, stuck it in the top of the door and pulled it out just enough to use my antenna to reach in and pop the door lock button.

From then on, it wasn't a problem, as I spent a couple bucks on a spare key, and tied it up with a bread wrapper twist tie onto the wiring harness behind the rear bumper/tail lights.
