Aldive, of course they can say that, but how can you know if it's on and someone IS tracking you? Ya never know. Does not, can not...very different terms in that case. It would kinda freak me out too. Course, I'm sure they don't keep it on all the time, but they could.

I read in the newspaper a few years ago that a guy had purchaced a used car not knowing that it was equipped with Lo-Jack. When he reported it stolen i guess the car was in some kind of data base at the police station becuase they activated the system and the police found his car in his mother-in-laws garage. He was arrested for trying to commit insurace fraud. Aint that a *****.

Speaking of big brother, you know a while ago I was reading in some magazine and they had an article about how with cars of the future they will put these little boxes in them to track them down when stolen, just like LoJack. But the thing is they'll put these boxes in every car whether you want them or not, plus your insurance company will monitor your box at all times and charge you higher rates if you drive through dangerous areas or leave your car parked in high crime areas. Now THAT is big brother.

Didnt you all read wat I typed????

I was talking insurance companies, not police.
