longer tortion bolts?

hey i was looking at me tortion bars and i noticed that a longer adjuster bolt would be a possible way to raise the front end. i got em MAXED out now and i only need about 1 ince to level out. my buddy says tortion twists are bad cuz if the front end lands to hard from a drop i can snap my tortion bars. is this true? do they make longer bolts, or should i go to the homedepot and get some grade A bolts?

you mean grade 8. Home depot wont have the bolt you need, they have the correct thread and all but they are too short. Search around for fastenol torsion bar bolts are something similar to that nature.

Believe it or not others have discussed longer torsion bar bolts on this site before. I'd search around and see what I could come up with. Good luck.
