These are a huge eBay Ripoff. It's been determined that these things will pretty much restrict airflow, not increase it. There have been a few threads around here about them. Although the one in your link looks a little more hi-tech than the marine blower fan deals that are out there. But I'd seriously stay away from anything like this..
Glorified hair dryer. I think you should get the Tornado, though. I got an extra 50hp out of that. And, try one of those Type R stickers. That will definitely give you at least 100hp if you put that on your X. I've been saving up to buy one myself. Also, you know those high tech billet curb feeler? I hear they give you something like another 25hp too. Plus, they keep you from trashing your rims. Oh man, I almost forgot: tape on of those heartbeat EKG things to your back window. That's been proven over and over to give you AT LEAST 100hp. Don't forget about one of those propeller hitch covers because, seriously, when that propeller gets going, its like a turbo boost in the rear. Man, if you did all these mods, it would be like having a second engine in your ride.
get a tornado... same power increase, but a lot cheaper :smoke: or just send money to me, i will tell everyone your truck is badass and hella fast......
That's a new one tho, haven't seen it before. Maybe the "bilge pump" blower has lost its credibility and alternatives are now popping up. I guess anything with a 100 watt fan motor is a supercharger. That looks like a gas boiler/water heater blower fan!
Robb
edit: Just looked them up in my Grainger book, depending on exact wattage, they are $30-$40
That is a bilge ventilator, just like the other ones, that one is what they call flange mount. A guy that i worked with at Boaters World bought one of these things and put it on his 87 Bonneville, he thought it was fast, had all the lights spray painted black with no wheel covers, very comical. I dont think he realized that he could get wasted by a Golf Cart with the new super turbo of course.
haha jesus guys give the poor guy a break! It looks like hes kinda new to the boards so he obviously didnt know, which is why he asked. You guys are always so quick to attack people on here calm down
