50-100 horse? Nah. I'll pass, and I'll bet the kit comes all dumped into a box. :D

yea, but if you got a built motor you can get over 485 horse at 25+ psi. but i don't have a built motor. i can get a 100 shot of nos for a little over $500.

Experienced welder & installer?

This kit would require the assistance of an experienced welder and installer. It assumes that the battery will be relocated out of the engine compartment. There are no instructions and the supplier provides no assistance. The add doesn't specify OHV or SOHC. Extensive custom tuning will be required after fabrication to end up with a useful vehicle. There are no injectors or high pressure fuel pump included in the kit which means quick engine destruction from excessively lean conditions during high boost. The kit might be a good deal for an experienced turbo builder.

and I quote
There are no installation instructions included. The install is simple and most customers install it themselves in a weekend. If you cannot figure it out or feel uncomfortable with the installation, please have a professional assist.

If you got this and dropped a 100 shot on it, you would demolish your bottom end, likely on the first full throttle drop. To build a 4.0 to reliable handle 485hp would cost way more $$$ than it would be worth. Much cheaper/more reliable/easier to swap in a v8 and supercharge/turbo that. Much more available for the 5.0, plus you can get transmissions built that can handle the power. No way is your 5r trans going to hold this, and a 100 shot.

no i ment get a 100 shot of nos instead of the turbo. not both, lol. that would probably get ugly. i just saw it and thought the price was good for anyone interested. i don't got the money for this or nos.

I always find it cheaper to dream about fast cars... :D

I always tell my kids thats the best part. Dreaming about what you want to build/acquire Once you acquire what you want the luster wears off and you're off to the next thing.:p:

Thats crazy...me too!
I dream of having a supercharged 95 V8, that can blow away most anything that tries, I dream of having a full new exhaust system on my 92 to quite her up a bit......LOL

Check out the print at the end of the listing.

Installation
It is best to consult a professional turbocharger installer with specific questions.
There are no installation instructions included. The install is simple and most customers install it themselves in a weekend. If you cannot figure it out or feel uncomfortable with the installation, please have a professional assist. Most of these parts are direct bolt-ons. Some are not.
The piping needs to be fitted up. Because of the bends and couplers included, it should be simple.
The T3 turbo flange needs to be welded to an adapter pipe or directly to the stock manifold. To run this on a street car, the turbocharger down pipe will need to be connected to your existing exhaust. Expect to fabricate an adapter pipe or have an exhaust shop connect them.
Sounds like a lot of extra $$ will be required too.

I'd love to see womeone install that in an SOHC motor... Given the fact that the 'downpipes' as he called them don't come together until AFTER the FOUR cats, I'd love to see the exhaust plumbing.... It would look something like that pipes screensaver Win98 and WinNT came with...
