Lookin for a quality equalizer at rock bottom prices

Since Sony doesn't feel the need to include an equalizer in their head units, I've decided that I must have one. D-Bass is good, but i want something better. Any ideas?

try going to a local swap meet or flea market.... good deals can always be found at those.....

I'm pretty good at finding deals on equipment, seeing as how i've paid a total of $0 for my entire system so far. I wanted to know what kind of equalizer i need to look for, i've got no clue whats quality and whats crap.

I have a Pioneer nine band eq 12db cut & boost with a parametric low and a variable sub out. Works real well I have had it for some time but I recall it was not too expesnive.
