Hello all,
I'm looking at a 2000 V8 XLT, 82,000 mi., leather,sunroof, $5495.
Test drove it and it runs fine. However:
1 - engine light was on
2- was unable to read a code on my meter(my meter would not power up).
3- delaler was unable to read a code on his meter(meter did not power up).
4- 3 owners prior to me
5- hand brake light would flash on intermittently.
6- there was a slight noise from the belt area(dealer claims its a pulley bearing).
The vehicle was company car then sold to a private sale.
Normally I would stay away from this but the engine was very clean, undercarriage was good(some Wisconsin winters so). and the car drove really well. For this money I can't seem to find anything as night as this.
