Looking at an 01

I'm about to buy an 01 4x4 Black Sport Trac with 109,000 miles for $8,000. Supposedly the owner's husband owns a body shop, so I know the body is in mint condition. It has new brakes, ball joints and tires. Do you Sport Trac owners think that is a wise decision? I'm sort of reluctant to buy any car/truck over 100,000 miles, but if I wanted one with 75,000 miles, they go for about 13,000 which seems a little pricey. Let me know your thoughts. Also anyone with an 01, how many miles do you have on yours?

I have an 01 that I bought with 79K I know have 84K on it and no problems. I've replaced the ball joints and shocks and changed all the fluids. THe biggest thing with these trucks are the trannys, try t ofind out if the tranny oil was changed at least once during it's life time. Other then that there really isn't too much to be concerned with.
