Looking at new explorer, Is it worth it?

I am looking at buying a 98 Explorer Sport with 84,000 on it, it is a v6 4.0 eddie bauer. They want $7000 is it worth it and what are the problems I should be looking at?

seems a little high.. Is it a 4wd or 2wd.. Did a quick check on Edmunds and the starting out dealer price was around 5800.. Options, milease increase or anything else it has..

A fully optioned out one ran up to $8500 for a 2wd model based on my area code (San Diego, Ca).. So depending options.. it could be worth it..

also I know if its got the SOHC motor make sure the cam tensioners were fixed.. They had problems in the earlier years of the SOHC motor..
