Sorry dude there is no way to wire a remote starter into a 1996 keyless entry.
Your best bet would be to buy a decent alarm system that allows that as an option.

I have a viper 550 esp. This alarm/auto start has options for almost anything. Mine starts the truck, opens the doors, and sets the alarm, which you can turn off and on inside the truck. You can ditch your keyless entry remote you have now, and just use the one from Viper. I had mine installed for $550.00. It was worth the money. They can tie in the new alarm into your door lock actuators. I have keyless entry on my '91 EB. because of my alarm. Any Questions, drop me a line

I have one from Code Alarm. It unlock/locks, arms/unarms, starts the car, and turns on the rear window defogger. I paid $500 for it.

i am getting one installed for $270. nothing fancy except 1,000ft. PROVEN remote.

most of them you can use the new remote and not even carry the ford one....
