looking for aftermarket headers- look here

I have been talking to some aftermarket header companys and trying to talk them into making custom explorer V-8 and 1998+ V-8 ranger headers.

I am thinking something like a mid length header with
1 3/4" primarys. This way they would fit all 2wd, 4x4, and AWD.

I am not saying anthing will happen... probably because of price but if I have a list of people interested and have enough maybe we can get someone to do something for us at a fair price.... who knows.

if your interested please list you user name, e-mail, and what you would be willing to spend on headers.

now that i think about it..... if these were mid length you would need to get a custom exhaust also...... so we will probably need to go shorty- lets see whos interested

I might be interested, I def want to do something with my exhaust, especially if I do some major internal engine mods. I probably wouldnt want to pay more than $300-$400 for them. VairKing@aol.com

I'd be willing to spend 250... But that's a rough figure and not set in stone.

Guys any of those companies would laugh at you if you said $400 for a set of CUSTOM headers. $400 is how much mass manufactured headers cost. Hell, I paid $400 for a set of Hooker shorties for my 350. From what I have seen in the past, it is going to be $800-$1200. Just my estimate though.
