Anyone know of and online source for alignment specs..... camber, caster, and toe settings for our vehicles? In particular for my 2003 Sport Trac 4X4......
After going back four times, I think I'm gonna have to get serious with the shop!
Access to specifications would be a big help.
Thanks in advance!

I need to save room in my albums, I'll type them in for ya...

This is for both front left and right... (* is for degrees)

Specified Range

Camber -1.2* 0.2*
Caster 2.2* 4.2*
Toe -1/32in 3/32in

Front

Cross Camber -0.7* 0.7*
Cross Caster -1.8* 0.0*
Total Toe -1/16in 3/16in

Hopefully this helps. These are the specs from my alignment sheet and I have a 2003 Sport Trac XLT lifted 4wd...

Thanks! That is just the information I wanted. But.....

The guy at the shop showed me on the screen readout that my truck was at 1.5 and he set it to 1 degree because of +/-. I had pointed out that the right side was visibly cambered "in" at the top and the tires (with 5k miles) were wearing on the inside edge.....he also checked and adjusted the toe. Now I can still see what seems to me way too much negative camber and I don't want my new tires to wear out on the inside.....

Am I the only one that has this problem? What are the results of setting the camber closer to zero....like 0.5 to 0.7 or so? BTW my ST has 101k miles and is not lifted and I'm still running the stock size tire... 255/75-16.

Thanks again!

The camber spec above is from negative 1.2 to positive 0.2, so if you set it at straight up zero then you'd be in spec., but positive 0.5 to 0.7 would be out of spec, and generally undesirable.u

After changing my mustang to front coilover and cber/caster adj. plates, I used a level to set the camber to about 2 deg. neg, and set the caster to the max I could get the same on both sides just measuring from the top of the strut to the firewall... point being that there are ways to do it at home.
